Dear Knitters,
Someone posted this and then tagged me thinking I could help. At first glance it's something like a seed stitch, then I was thinking trinity or star. I think I started seeing things.
Here is the wrong side.
Anyone know?!? If they learn first, I'll report back!
Happy Knitting!
Is it linen stitch? Or half linen stitch?
ReplyDeleteWe all keep defaulting to linen or double moss! but it doesn't look the same!
DeleteI saw your Twitter conversation about it but have no idea what it is. It is a very interesting stitch since it seems pretty weird that you would get a back that looks like a slipped stockinette.
ReplyDeleteThis is exactly what perplexed me!
DeleteThis is Tuck Stitch done on the knitting machine! That is why you can't figure it out as a hand knitting pattern!
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of this! I'll pass it on!
DeleteAnd the pictures are taken from my blog, FYI!
DeleteNow Ellen. I am so thrilled you posted this. i get dizzy looking at it. No help here. BUt HI HO!
ReplyDeleteI just like when the knitters make an effort to help each other.
DeleteI looks like some sort of slip stitch pattern to me
ReplyDeleteThat's exactly what I thought. I had a good time investigating various slip and textured stitches!
DeleteI have no clue but it looks neat.
ReplyDeleteHa! you are not alone, my friend!
DeleteI got an email about another stitch? What is going on? From a blogger I had never heard of but was happy to help if I could, but I couldn't so there you have it!
ReplyDeleteThat's how I feel Mere, you never know! And I love a little knit analysis.
DeleteInteresting stitch, and it looks like you got the answer. As you can see I am slow to the party!
ReplyDeleteI had such a good time looking up various textured and slip stitches online. :)
DeleteI am 48, have 3 children, 2 boys age 25 and 22 and a daughter of 11. My husband left me last year after 25 years of marriage (he turned 50). It has been the most difficult year of my life, but full of lessons about myself and what life and marriage are all about. I am passionate about marriage and i didn't give up on my husband. resides in USA, I entered online in search of advice on how i can amend my marriage while i was at work. I saw so many positive reviews and nice feed back about how a Doctor called Robinson.buckler@ yahoo. com has been wonderful with his work. I gave a shot to make contact with him via his Email and he assured me that my marriage will be peaceful and i believed in his words. 16 hours after he finished work, my husband came back home pleading and now, we are living peacefully again. Get in contact with him if you need any help.
