Saturday post school families festivities, which were super fun, The Kid and I relaxed between chores. (Of course we seem to be battling a cold now. But we are so happy and relaxed we don't mind much.)
We listened to audio Harry potter and the order of the Phoenix. I think when I put my sock down to fold laundry I did this:
Yes that is still fall sock #1.
Yes I cannot find that 5th needle.
Know what I did Sunday? That's right, I bought a new set of needles or 3 ... what? I needed some US 5 32" circs for my attempt at magic loop knitting! pshaw, I really needed them!
(Not that I don't have a zillion other things I could be doing or knitting. But I love an excuse for a trip to the local LYS 😍)

I think I would love an excuse to go there too. Merry Christmas.

Imagiknit rocks! I need some tiny DPNs for future cuff down socks since it can be hard to convert them to toe up.
ReplyDeleteOh yikes ...nobody needs a broken needle THIS TIME OF YEAR! Glad you were able to obtain replacements quickly.
ReplyDeleteHave a very merry Christmas and all the best in 2014.
omg....if that was my lys i could find many reasons for an emergency run!!!!
ReplyDeleteHaha. Al and I are PLANNING our LYS trip for the 27th or 28th this week when she arrives from Virginai!!! I may need some new needles too
ReplyDeleteI'm all for an excuse to the knit shop :) merry christmas!!!!
ReplyDeleteA broken needle is a great excuse to visit a yarn shop. I'd be out of luck - no yarn shops in my area. :o(
ReplyDeleteSupporting the local economy is a great reason any day.
