Katiebee from Life on Coyote Hill Continues shared something with me that blew my mind. When I viewed it I must've done that "Babies and kittens and sunshine farting, rainbow pooping Unicorns, oh my!" sound that brought my concerned cube-mate from around the corner.
There were tears in my eyes.
Katiebee sent me this fabulous link about Mr. Rogers. You all may already know all about this. But his Mom knit his sweaters. In THIS AMAZING VIDEO he tells us boys and girls about it.
Ah-may-zing.
Concerned cube-mate has brought the DEFCON levels down once I explained, "It's a knitting thing."
I hope you are showing your love.:)
I have heard that about Mr. Rogers. Super cool that was. I finished my secret swap partner's washcloth. That's some love there.
ReplyDeleteI just wrote a well thought out comment about how much I loved Mr. Rogers and how his sweaters were the reason I picked up the needles many moons ago when my boys were itty bitty. I went off looking at things here and there and forgot to hit PUBLISH. Jeesh.
ReplyDeleteOh how lovely, what a wonderful son! CJ xx
ReplyDeleteyep, and wouldn't you be a proud mamma to know how much your work was appreciated?!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful! Thanks for sharing the link.
ReplyDeleteKnitting=love so love=knitting. Makes perfect sense.
ReplyDeleteI did know this but I had not seen the video, thank you for sharing it. What an amazing guy and of course that is because he had an amazing Mom.

ReplyDeleteah Fred was a gem!
ReplyDeleteThanks. Our kids loved that show.
ReplyDeleteI live not too far from Mr. Rogers' house. I saw him once and he was indeed wearing a cardigan. I was so sad when he passed on.
ReplyDeleteLove the video! He was truly knitworthy. His mom's knitting and love will live on for future generations to see.
